Good to know

Answers before you upload.

File handling, free limits, and account behavior are explained here so there are no surprises in the queue.

Which conversions happen on my device?

Compatible PNG, JPG, and WebP conversions under 25 MB can run locally in your browser. Other formats and larger files are staged as server jobs.

Do I need an account for a basic conversion?

No. You can stage files and run supported local image conversions without signing in. If a later step requires an account, your queue is preserved in this tab.

Can I convert several files at once?

Yes. Add a mixed batch, set one output across compatible files, or choose an output separately on each queue item.

What happens to a server-processed file?

Server jobs are labeled in the queue. Open the security details for the current transport, storage, and deletion policy before you process sensitive material.

Can I change image quality?

Yes. The image quality control applies to supported image outputs and updates before conversion begins.

How files are protected

  • Compatible image conversions run locally and never leave your device.
  • Server jobs use TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 at rest.
  • Temporary server files are deleted automatically within one hour.
  • Production deployments should connect these claims to auditable infrastructure logs.

Connect Google Drive

Google Drive import needs a Google Picker OAuth configuration supplied by the site owner. Your files are not sent anywhere until you choose a file in the picker.

  1. Create a Google Cloud project and enable the Google Picker API.
  2. Create a browser OAuth client and API key restricted to this site.
  3. Define window.ANYFILE_CLOUD_PICKER_CONFIG before this block, then connect the Picker callback to addFiles().
window.ANYFILE_CLOUD_PICKER_CONFIG = { clientId: "your-client-id.apps.googleusercontent.com", developerKey: "your-api-key" };
