Holland’s 1st Easter

April 4th, 2010

Holland’s 1st Easter started off going to church. We went to 10:30 am mass with his Auntie Monika. He was sleepy the whole time but was occupied looking at the little boy

sitting behind us and the choir singing. We went home after for his nap and after he woke up we went into the yard and gave him is Easter basket. I filled it with large empty

easter eggs and a little green duckie. He really enjoyed trying to put his eggs in his mouth. All in all it was a great 1st Easter!

9 Months old!!!

April 1st, 2010

Today Holland turned

9 months old, it’s hard to believe! He has grown so much and is really turning into a big boy. He’s weighing in about 25 1/2 lbs, we will know for sure when we see his new

doctor wednesday april 7th.

Holland enjoys standing against the ottoman and scoots along. He still hasn’t quite got his balance yet so mama and daddy are on standby for

when he his body goes further then his feet. No crawling yet, he has never been a fan of tummy time. He seems close, he will get on his hands and knees and rock back and forth

then plop onto his belly. Then crys till one of us sits him up.

No teeth either! Weve been told for months he’s teething but no sign of a tooth coming in anytime soon.

Of course he loves to eat! He is doing so well with finger foods! His tummy couldn’t handle meat yet so for protien he is eating tofu and pureed chick peas. There

isn’t a veggie or fruit yet that he will not eat and he has a large variety of them! I still make his food fresh which he prefers anyways.

Milestone!

March 25th, 2010

It has taking him a little while but Holland finally rolled

from his back to his belly, of course we missed it because he had done it in bed. We heard him screaming so Doug went to check on him and found him on his stomach. Daddy to the

rescue put him back on his back and he went right to bed.

4 Month Doctor appointment

November 4th, 2009

Today Holland went in for his 4 month check up. His states: 16

lbs 10 oz and 27 1/2 inches, still 75-90% for weight but is off the charts for height. He also recieved his shots today. He did well when we left the doctors, went home to eat

then took a 5 hr nap. When he woke up from his nap he was crying/wining and I knew something was wrong. I went ahead and fed him 8 oz but after he still cried/wined. Doug put

him in bed with us and a few minutes later he threw up everywhere, on top of that, anytime we would try to hold him he screamed because of his legs being so sore. After talking

to the nurse we gave him a bit of Tylenol he feel back asleep in our bed. He slept through the night and seemed much better by morning, but still was a little sore and tired.

Rockin & Rollin

October 7th, 2009

So today for the first time Holland rolled over. I put him on

his tummy for tummy time and he just out of now where rolled onto his back. I put him back onto his tummy and he did it again. I jumped up to grab the camera to try to get him

on video and he did it again for me. I’m glad I was able to get it on video the 3rd time cause when we tried to get him to do it again he only half rolled. We’re so proud of

the little guy, every milestone he hits gives us such excitment. Doug and I talked about how lucky we are to both be at home to enjoy these great moments together.

3 month doctor appointment

October 1st, 2009

Everything went great at Holland’s 3 month doctor appointment.

He is weighing in at 14 lbs 8 oz and 25 1/2 inches long, still in the 90-95% for height and 75% for weight. His little pee pee had to be fixed cause a little skin got stuck but

it’s all better now. Doctor says he looks perfectly healthy and on track! The next big milestone to work on is rolling over, if only I can get Holland to like being on his

belly.

Week 6 – Grams comes to visit

August 18th, 2009

DSC03471Week 6 has

come and gone really fast. This kid is growing like a weed in a cow pattie. He weighs almost 13 lbs already. Keep in mind that he would weigh almost 14 lbs if he hadn’t been

circumsized 3 weeks ago. I think he needs a haircut, but Chicken says it is okay for now.

More pictures are now posted in the gallery for the last 2 weeks.

4 week Doctor’s appointment

July 29th, 2009

Today we went to the doctor to have

Holland’s pee pee unwrapped from the gause. He is now 9 lbs 5 oz and 23 inches long. He’s growing so fast already! Holland’s tummy has been bothering him lately so he

screamed through most of the doctor appointment. When his pee pee was unwrapped it looked bad to me but Doug says it looks good. What do I know, I dont have one of those. It is

still swollen and red but the doctor reasured me that in a few days it will look normal.
